I’m passionate about the bees in “my” bee hives on our acreage at Tumbi Umbi on the Central Coast of NSW Australia.
I love the feedback I get that the honey produced by the girls (if you didn’t know, all foraging bees are girls) is sweet, clear and light .
Honey is for sale at two cafes on the Central Coast and “at the gate”. If you have a jar of my honey you’ll see the address on the label.
I expect to set up a procedure on this website for you to order honey and pay online by credit card - if I find there is demand for that..
I have said the bee hives are “mine” because I’ve come to understand bees have their own mind(s) so I describe myself as a bee carer rather than than a bee keeper - every time a hive swarms I’m reminded no-one keeps bees who don’t want to remain “kept”.
